It blows my mind, that they allow this type of craziness on television. The reality series “My Sweet 16″ shows nothing but a bunch of spoiled brats acting a fool and wasting money on worthlessness. They take you behind the scenes as wealthy teens prepare for their “coming of age” parties. They show everything from the expensive customs, ballrooms, party activities and usually include the brats getting a car worth more then most normal Americans will make in a year, some a lifetime.

We complain about the disrespect of teens today, yet allow them to watch shows such as this. The majority of these teens show little to no respect for their parents and throw tantrums like 2 year olds. Rather then teaching them the value of a dollar they blow thousands, millions and even billions of dollars on these crazed teen birthday parties. This gives teens of today a false sense of reality and teaches these spoiled brats absolutely nothing.

Rather then blowing money on parties that aren’t even truly appreciated nor deserved they should have them donate funds to those less fortunate and have them spend the day helping a charity. They need to teach these teens the value of a dollar and better yet the true meaning of life. Especially with all the economically issues of today they need to understand just how quickly all that money can disappear. These poor kids have no shot at survival in the real world!
