One of the most highly anticipated movie events of the year has finally happened. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 had its red carpet premiere in Los Angeles yesterday (14.11.11), and the movie’s stars were out in full force.
Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli and other Twilight notables walked the red carpet greeted by many screaming fans. Kristen Stewart, 24, wowed the crowd in a daring purple sequinned gown slit to the thigh, putting accent on her long legs. The beauty arrived alongside her boyfriend and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.

He looked very handsome in a charcoal slimline suit paired with a light-grey shirt and skinny black tie. One of the other Twilight’s female leads, Ashley Greene who plays Alice Cullen, drew gasps from the crowd at the premiere by stepping onto the red carpet in a strapless red tulle confection.
An army of supporters scrambled to get Kristen’s autograph and take some snaps with the Robert and Taylor. Speaking about the wedding scene, in Twilight Breaking Dawn, Stewart told reporters on the red carpet that it felt quite natural to her when on set.
“Didn’t really think about it, to be honest. The last way you want to remember something you’ve been building to for years is just actor-y, weird choices and neurotic weirdness. I remember things for the genuine experience, and that’s rare.”-the leading lady said at the premiere.

In the much-anticipated fourth installment of Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1, Pattinson’s much-adored character Edward Cullen marries his long-term love Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart. The rest of the two films see Bella fighting a lethal battle with her beastly unborn child that grows rapidly inside her, feeding off her blood.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 is released in cinemas on November 18.
