There have been rumors stating that Kellan Lutz is gay and that he has a secret boyfriend that he doesn’t want the world to know. The “Twilight” star says he pretty much can careless what people say about his sexuality because he knows himself plus, Kellan Lutz Prefers Living With Gay Guys anyways. Lutz explains to The Advocate magazine, “I don’t Google myself, but I’ve heard that people think I’m gay… Most of the girlfriends I’ve had have come after me. So it’s really funny when girls get offended because I don’t hit on them.”
He continued on by saying, “They’ll transform their insecurity into, ‘Oh, that makes sense, because I heard you’re into guys and have a boyfriend.’ I’m like, ‘Seriously? That’s your tactic to get me to like you?’ There will always be rumors, but I know who I am.” I am sure some pathetic and insecure girls would say something like that. I’ve witnessed it before, some pretty girl gets turned down by a very handsome man and then she tells the guy “Oh, you must be gay,” because they can’t accept the fact that the guy is simply not into her.
Lutz also stated that he has no problem with the LGBT community and in fact he respects them very much. Lutz explains, “Oh, they’re the best. I love them. When I meet gay fans out and about, they’re so great to talk to — and I’m big on hugging, because I’m from the Midwest. I’m proud to have those fans, and their support means a lot to me. I don’t want just girls coming to my movies; I want guys to come too.”
The “Twilight” hunk claims that he has had plenty of roommates and prefers to actual live with a gay man, “Honestly, I’d prefer to live with gay guys. They’re the cleanest, and they just take care of stuff. Because I’m always away, coming home to a clean house means a lot to me. Trust me, I’ve lived with a lot of roommates, and straight guys are just kids who don’t pick up after themselves.”
Aside from making movies, Kellan Lutz Launches Abbot + Main Clothing line and the line mainly focuses on men’s clothing but soon enough he will release a woman’s clothing line as well.
