Brad Pitt pretended his marriage to Jennifer Aniston was something that it wasn’t. The actor thinks his life before his relationship with Angelina Jolie started to feel pathetic because he spent a lot of time smoking marijuana and hiding.

Brad Pitt married Jennifer Aniston , in 2000 after dating the former Friends star in the 1990s. They split five years later, soon after he filmed Mr and Mrs Smith with Jolie.

“I started to get sick of myself sitting on a couch, holding a joint, hiding out. It started feeling pathetic. It became very clear to me that I was intent on trying to find a movie about an interesting life, but I wasnt living an interesting life myself. I think that my marriage had something to do with it. Trying to pretend the marriage was something that it wasn’t”-Brad Pitt told Parade magazine.

The 47-year-old actor, now lives a much happier life with Angelina and their six children, Maddox, 10, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

“One of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom. She is such a great mom. Oh man, Im so happy to have her.”-the actor said.

Compared to his life in the 1990s, Brad Pitt says he is now very content.

According to a sensational new book: Jennifer Aniston ordered Brad Pitt to leave their Beverly Hills home after he admitted that he was in love with Angelina Jolie.

Arnon Milchan, who produced Mr and Mrs Smith, makes the revelation in a book about his life as a producer and businessman tied to the arms trade, which is entitled Confidential: The Life of Secret Agent Turned Hollywood Tycoon.

He recalls how he originally cast Pitt and Nicole Kidman as the married spy couple in his film but that Brad pulled out of the project due to a lack of chemistry between himself and the red-haired Australian actress.

The author of the book Milchan, also insists that Brad Pitt was already infatuated with Angelina Jolie as immediately after he cast her as the female lead, Brad called him to say he was happy to play Mr to her Mrs.
