Pregnant actress Hilary Duff has apparently been dropped from upcoming movie The Story Of Bonnie And Clyde. Hilary was due to play Bonnie Parker in the remake of the 1967 classic but, after announcing that she is pregnant with her first child, plans changed.
“Hilary won’t be available until next June. If we could wait we would. Due to our obligations with investors and international buyers it is imperative that we stick to our current schedule. Therefore we are forced to explore other options for the two lead roles.”-the producers of The Story of Bonnie and Clyde stated.
There was also a public battle between 23-year-old Hilary Duff and original Bonnie actress Faye Dunaway. Namely the Oscar nominated actress said of Hilary’s casting:
“Couldn’t they at least cast a real actress?”
Pregnant Hilary Duff couldn’t stay silent and hit back:
“I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is.”
Hilary Duff was spotted looking pretty joyfull, despite being dropped from ‘The Story of Bonnie and Clyde’, as she and her husband Mike Comrie have a big reason to be happy.
