DMX is back! After being released from prison just last month, the much loved rapper is ready for a come back. This time around however he’s planning on keeping a clean slate and working harder then ever before. As he said in an interview, “The first time around, it was given to me. Now, I’m working for it! There’s definitely a difference in what I’m gonna give, and what I’m gonna get out.”
X has been in the studio everyday since his release working on his upcoming album currently titled ‘Redemption Of The Beast’. He is hoping to drop his new record by December 2011. When talking about his new album X states that he’s taking things back to the way they were when he did his first album. He’s bringing back the “hunger, the energy, the hardness of it,” he said. He also went on to say that he wants to bring Hip Hop back to where it’s supposed to be, that it’s not in a good place right now.
It’s been reported that X has been working with Swizz Beatz, Caviar, and Dame Grease on his new album and is in negotiations with Rick Ross to possible join the Maybach Music Group.
Aside from working on his new album X is also planning to do a Reality TV Show. The show will be based around the lives of his 10 children as they reunite with one another.
