It is rumored to be one of the scariest ghost movies ever.
Daniel Radcliffe‘s upcoming film, The Woman in Black, looks more and more horrifying with each teaser trailer released.
The young actor portrays a figure of a lawyer (Arthur Kipps) sent to a remote island to clear up the affairs of a deceased client. He becomes disturbed by the sight of a ghost at the client’s funeral.
The locals stay silent on the matter so Kipps, (Daniel Radcliffe) is forced to uncover the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own.
The teaser trailer opens with chime toy box music, with disturbing images of old children’s toys.
One of the spookiest moments in the movie a child’s voice saying:
“During afternoon tea, there’s a shift in the air, a bone-trembling hill that tells you she’s there. There are those who believe the whole town is cursed, but the house in the marsh was by far the worst.”
Daniel Radcliffe himself said that The Woman in Black will be really good, terrifying movie, as people were leaping out of their seats during at test screening.
The adaption of the Susan Hill‘s novel is directed by Eden Lake‘s James Watkins, while the script comes from Jane Goldman, the co-screenwriter of Kick Ass and X-Men: First Class.
The Woman In Black is released 10th February 2012.
