Apparently things are getting serious between Alec Baldwin 53, and his girlfriend Hilaria Thomas 27, a yoga instructor.

The actor has reportedly sold his $9.5m worth Central Park West apartment in NYC, and is moving downtown, to live with his much younger yoga instructor girlfriend.

According to the New York Post‘s sources, Alec Baldwin has bought an apartment in SoHo and he moves in with his girlfriend Hilaria.

“He’s really in love. He’s even met her parents. He sees marriage in the near future.”- the source said.

According to the Post, at a recent charity baseball game in East Hampton, Baldwin’s new girlfriend was spotted wearing a diamond and platinum ring. The jewellery was said to have belonged to Baldwin’s grandmother.

Alec Baldwin has not been in a serious relationship since splitting with his first wife Kim Basinger after 11 years of marriage.

The 53-year-old actor Alec Baldwin is considering two colleges about enrolling in a master’s program in politics and government, so he can better understand the post, which he plans to run for some time after 2013. Yes we’re talking about the post-Mayor of New York.

The 30 Rock star tells the New York Times he’s not a fan of Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg.

“That billionaire guy, isn’t hip to the city’s needs.”-he says.

Alec Baldwin came open with his political aspirations earlier this year (2011), when he hinted at plans to run for Mayor of New York.

However the star admits he also needs to school himself in the basics of politics and do some research about the workings of New York before he officially declares his bid for office.

University will] help me better understand what the fiscal imperatives of that job are. What’s the reality of the city unions, of contracts, agreements, teachers, infrastructure, decentralising, everything? And utilities, Con Ed, the M.T.A. — how does it all work?”-he says.

Alec Baldwin also says has been asked by supporters to consider running for Mayor in other states but doesn’t want to move from his home city, and thinks he understands the residents there better than he would anywhere else.
